Donna M. Brooks, age 93, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling, IL.
Donna was born on January 6, 1929, in Rock Falls, IL, the daughter of Ralph and Beulah (Higley) Barkdoll. She married Marshall Brooks on July 17, 1948, in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2008. Donna was the Manager of the Wheel Inn Ranch for six years, retiring in 1991.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Steve) Geerts of Morrison; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Duane Brooks; sisters, Joyce Schrader and Janet Waters; brother, Keith Barkdoll.
A private Graveside service will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling, IL.
