Principal Jeffrey Hoese said, “A huge shout out goes to Brad Stuart of Winkel, Parker, & Foster CPA PC, for his generous donation to the Greatest Little Elementary School in the Universe,” Fulton, IL, Elementary School. A donation of $3000 was made to support the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program and the House System, focusing on positive relationships.

Donor Brad Stuart said, “I grew up in Fulton, and the community is very near and dear to my heart. Now that I’m raising kids, I’m excited for them to go through the River Bend School District and benefit from the same experiences I was able to use, as a foundation in my life. This gift is a small thank you for everything the school district does for every child in our community.”

The PBIS and House System allows students to earn daily points for positive behavior. Students can then spend their points on non-tangible rewards–such as lunch with a teacher; participating in the morning announcements; dismissing students at the end of the day. They can also earn tangible rewards–such as keychains, 3D-printed objects, books, and more.

These donation dollars will be used specifically towards those student rewards and for materials for House Day activities and field trips.
