Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center will host a “Pints for Fines” blood drive from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. All donors will receive a voucher to have $10 in overdue fines forgiven, at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
Help us save lives locally. This drive is open to the public and will be held inside the MVRBC Donor Bus, Morrison Community Hospital, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison.

Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I. D. is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at 800-747-5401. Donors who last gave blood on or before May 17, 2017, are eligible to give at this drive.
Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the provider of blood and blood components to more than 90 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Locally, MVRBC is the exclusive provider of blood products to patients at hospitals in Morrison, and Geneseo, IL, and the Quad Cities.
