December 9 Sheriff’s Report

12-08-13 at 10:23 p.m.  Erin E. Roggy, age 19 of Morrison, IL, was arrested in Sterling, IL, following a traffic stop.  She was charged with Driving While License Suspended, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Expired Registration Sticker.  She was released on bond.  Sterling Police and Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.
 
12-08-13 at 10:08 p.m.  Paul A. Krock, age 23 of Rock Falls, IL, was stopped at 5th Avenue near the intersection of 10th Street in Rock Falls for Inoperative Rear registration Light.  He was cited for No Valid Driver’s License and released on scene.  Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.
 
12-08-13 at 2:00 a.m.  Bryan P. Desch, age 32 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested on Bottom Road near Ridge Road on two active warrants:  one from Morgan County for Failure to Appear – DUI and one from Jefferson County for Failure to Appear – Retail Theft.  He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail.
 
12-08-13 at 01:18 a.m.  Mark A. Meier, age 50 of Fulton, IL, was stopped on Moline Road at Wilmot for Improper Lane Usage.  He was arrested and charged with the Improper Lane Usage as well as two counts of DUI, processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, and released on bond.  Erie Police and Bright’s Towing assisted on scene.
 
12-08-13 at 12:43 a.m.  A 17-year-old Rock Fal, IL, female was stopped in Sterling, IL, on Avenue G for Inoperative Rear registration Light
and arrested for No Valid Driver’’s License – Graduated License Curfew.  Her Driver’s License was posted as bond, and she was released to her mother.
 
12-07-13 at 02:48 a.m.  A 16-year-old Sterling, IL, female was stopped for a stop sign violation in Sterling resulting in an arrest for DUI, Graduated License – Too Many Passengers, No Valid Driver’s License – Graduated License Curfew, and Disobey Stop Sign.  Another 16-year-old female was charged with Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor and Curfew, while a 17-year-old female was charged with Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor.  All were released to their parents pending charges.
 
12-07-13 at 01:07 a.m.  John D. Persona, age 49 of Nachusa, IL, was stopped in Rock Falls, IL, for No Front Registration Plate.  He was arrested for that offense as well as Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Bond was posted, and he was released without incident.
 
12-02-13 at 9:53 p.m.  Gary A. Johnson, age 57 of Farmington, CT, was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 near Millard Road.  He was arrested for speeding 69/55 MPH and No Valid Driver’s License.  Gary was bonded on scene and released.
 
12-02-13 at 7:33 p.m.  Jeremy L. Lewis, age 25 of Tampico, IL, was arrested on Prophet Road just east of I-88 for a Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear – Driving While License Suspended.  He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail.
 
11-29-13 at 2:45 a.m.  Vicki L. Goss, age 41 of Tampico, IL, was arrested at her residence on an outstanding Whiteside County Warrant for Obstructing a Court Order.  She was transported to the Whiteside County Jail in lieu of bond.
 
11-29-13 at 9:15 p.m.  Shane Gonzalez, age 26 of Rock Falls, IL, was stopped by Deputies on Prophet Road near Riverdale Road and arrested for No Valid Driver’s License, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Operating Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis – Under 2.5 grams.  He was released on bond without incident.
 
11-27-13 at 10:40 p.m.  Danny K. Schroeder, age 54 of Clinton, IA, was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 west of Morrison, IL, and arrested for Speeding 69/55 MPH as well DUI.  He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond.  Rick’s Towing assisted on scene.
