December 6 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Police Department reports the following Arrests were made and Citations issued, as of Friday, December 6, 2024

Arrests:  On November 16, 2024, at approximately 11:34 p.m., Morrison Police Department conducted a traffic stop at Lincolnway and Milnes Drive.  The traffic stop was initiated after Morrison Police received information on a reckless driver entering the City.  Morrison Police ultimately arrested Michelle E. Dinkert, 51, Camanche, IA, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, Improper Lane Usage, and Illegal Transportation of an Alcoholic Beverage.  Dinkert was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released on a Notice to Appear in court.

On November 22, 2024, at approximately 10:29 p.m., Morrison Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of W. Lincolnway.  Morrison Police ultimately arrested Antwain R. Cabil, 31, Kewanee, IL, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, Speeding, and Possession of Adult-Use Cannabis in Paraphernalia or a Vehicle.  Cabil was processed and released on a Notice to Appear in court.  Hunter Towing and Morrison Community Hospital assisted Morrison Police.

On December 4, 2024, Morrison Police Department responded to Sullivan’s Foods for an unknown problem with an individual in the parking lot.  Morrison Police ultimately arrested Mark Parks, 66, Clinton, IA, on an arrest warrant out of Cook County, IL, for Failure to Appear.  Parks was ultimately held at the Whiteside County Jail.  Morrison Police Department was assisted by the Morrison Hospital.
