12-29-18 at 11:20 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies investigated the report of an underage drinking party in rural Prophetstown, IL. During the investigation, the following were arrested for Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor:
Owen C. Abell, age 19 of Prophetstown
Jackie G. Furguson, age 19 of Tampico, IL
Christopher G. Bonnell, age 19 of Prophetstown
Two juveniles were also arrested and release to their parents. Assisting with the investigation were Prophetstown Police Department, Erie Police Department, and Illinois State Police.
12-28-18 at 11:30 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies, Sterling Police, Sterling Fire, CGH EMS, and Illinois State Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Emerson Road just west of McCue Road, rural Sterling, IL. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered the driver had fled on foot from the scene. The driver, Drew A. Dissenger, age 27 of Morrison, IL, was later located at his residence and arrested for two counts of DUI and Driving Too Fast for Conditions. He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond. Slim-n-Hank’s Towing also assisted on scene.
12-25-18 at 9:05 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a physical domestic battery situation at a rural Sterling, IL, address. David W. Bellows, age 53 of rural Sterling, was arrested for Domestic Battery and remanded to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, pending a future court appearance.
12-25-18 at 01:07 a.m. Theresa L. Mylan, age 48 of Dixon, IL, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended in Sterling following a traffic stop at LeFevre Road and Locust Street. She was processed at the Sterling Police Department and released on bond. Sterling Police and Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.
