On Thursday, December 29, 2016, the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police, and Rock Falls Police Department conducted a detail to arrest subjects involved in the fight and shooting, which took place in the 2100 block of E. French Street, in Edwardsville, IL, on Thursday, December 1. Whiteside County Deputies responded to the fight call in this area, and it was reported shots were fired. Whiteside County was assisted by Sterling Police, Rock Falls Police, Illinois State Police, and Department of Conservation Police. During the investigation, it has been determined there were guns and knives involved, as well as many subjects. One vehicle was hit by a bullet during this incident. No one was treated at scene for any injuries from this incident.
Arrested were the following subjects:
Brandon Muller, 37, of Rock Falls, IL, charged with Mob Action and Unlawful Use of Weapons
Cainon Canas, 19, of Rock Falls, IL, charged with Aggravated Battery, Mob Action, and Unlawful Use of Weapons
Jennifer Elder, 37, of Rock Falls, IL, charged with Mob Action
Joseph Queen, 24, of Rock Falls, IL, charged with Mob Action
Colbey Russell, 24, of Rock Falls, IL, charged with Mob Action
Thomas Dugger, Jr., 22, of Rock Falls, IL, charged with Mob Action.
On Friday, December 30, all the subjects made their first court appearance in Whiteside County Court. Muller bond $100,000; Canas bond $50,000; Elder bond $50,000; Queen bond $50,000; Russell bond $50,000; Thomas Dugger, Jr. bond $50,000. According to jail records Russell and Dugger have bonded out of jail.
On Friday, December 30, an arrest Warrant was issued for Candy Dugger, 45, of Rock Falls. Anyone with inforation can all Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office of Crime Stoppers. A male juvenile of Rock Falls will be facing charges, Also more charges may be filed at a later date, as detectives continue their investigation,
