12-15-17 at 7:45 a.m. George A. Salmon, age 20 of Sterling, IL, was stopped for speeding on IL Route 40 near Duden Road, Rock Falls, IL. He was arrested for Speeding 93/55 MPH, bonded on scene, and released pending a future mandatory court date.
12-16-17 at 1:10 p.m. Antonio L. Caudillo, age 23 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested by Whiteside County Deputies on an outstanding Whiteside County Warrant, for Failure
to Appear-Driving Under the Influence, on Thome Road near Buell Road, Rock Falls. He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail without incident. Rock Falls Police assisted on scene.
12-16-17 at 5:00 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies went to an address in rural Sterling, IL, and arrested Jason A. Coblentz, age 36, currently of Sterling, for an active warrant out of Texas for Impersonating a Public Official. Coblentz was unable to post the required bail and transported to the Whiteside County Jail to await extradition to Texas.
12-17-17 at 1:53 a.m. A 17-year-old Morrison, IL, Male was stopped for speeding on Lyndon Road, rural Morrison. He was cited for Speeding 92/55 MPH and No Valid
Driver’s License-Graduated License Curfew Violation.
