12/10/13 at 7:37 a.m. Brooke L. Knight, 33 of Polo, IL, was arrested at Freeport and Fulf’s Roads, rural Sterling, IL, for a Whiteside County Warrant–Order of Commitment. She was taken to the Whiteside County Jail in lieu of bond.
12/10/13 at 3:04 p.m. Nicholas Galvan, 51 of Sterling, IL, was arrested at Buell Road and the I-88 overpass, rural Rock Falls, IL, for Driving While License Suspended and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash. He was released with a Notice to Appear in court.
12/13/13 at 8:37 a.m. Timothy W. Tate, 33 of Dixon, IL, was arrested at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office for a Whiteside County Warrant–Violation of Probation on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was taken to the jail in lieu of bond.
12/13/13 at 7:37 a.m. Lila J. Matinez, of Sterling, IL, was arrested in the 300 block of Avenue G, Sterling, for Driving While License Suspended and No Insurance. She was released with a Notice to Appear in court.
12/14/13 at 7:37 a.m. Yolanda C. Southerland, 49 of Moline, IL, was arrested after investigation of a single-vehicle crash on I-88, at milemarker 36. She was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash and Driving Too Fast for Conditions. She was released with a Notice to Appear in court.
12/14/13 at 7:37 a.m. Sebastian T. Guidry, 19 of Prophetstown, IL, was arrested after investigation of a single-vehicle crash at Prophet and Matznick Roads, rural Rock Falls, IL. He was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash, Failure to Notify Police of Crash, and Driving Too Fast for Conditions. He was released with a Notice to Appear in court.
12-16-13 at 11:35 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Prophetstown Road near Riverdale Road for obstructed vision. During the course of the traffic stop, Deputies arrested Brian K. Bode, below left, age 27 of Rock Falls, IL, and Danielle R. Dreibelbeis, below right, age 26 of Camanche, IA, for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material, and Unlawful Participation of Methamphetamine Manufacture. Both were transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office where they were held pending an initial court appearance. Rock Falls Police, Illinois State Police, and Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.
12-16-13 at 5:30 a.m. Semadin Akiti, age 70 of Clinton, IA, was arrested for Driving Too Fast for Conditions after Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on IL Route 136 near Chase Road, Fulton, IL. Akiti stated he lost control of his vehicle in the snow conditions, and it crashed into some trees on the north side of IL Route 136. There was no occupant injury. Fulton Police and Midwest Collision assisted on scene.
