On Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 50-year-old Melissa E. Denning of Lyndon, IL, on a Whiteside County Warrant for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Denning’s arrest is a result from several months of investigation, conducted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Detective Division, regarding the illegal sales of controlled substances (Prescription Medications.) Denning was transported to Whiteside County Jail, where she posted 10% of her $10,000 dollar bond.
Denning’s arrest is merely a charge, she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
