On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 2:30 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies arrested 39-year-old Jason A. Harkless, in the parking lot at 36 Grove Street, Prophetstown, IL, on a Mercer County Warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. The warrant was issued out of Mercer County with a set at $10,000 (10% applies.) Deputies were assisted by Prophetstown Police and Mercer County Sheriff’s Office while taking Harkless into custody. Harkless was transported to Whiteside County Jail.
