On 12-11-17 at 07:50 a.m., Jason A. Chapman, age 41 of Sterling, IL, was arrested at his home on two Whiteside County Warrants: Failure to Appear for Violation of Classification and Aggravated Battery-Public Place. He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail without incident. Rock Falls Police assisted on scene.
On 12/11/17 at 8:09 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Star Road near Perkins Road for speeding. Upon further investigation, Owen C. Abell, age 18 of Prophetstown, IL, was arrested for speeding 90/55. Abell was given a Notice to Appear with a future court date.
