Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, December 11, 2015.
Arrests:
On Friday, December 11, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., Morrison Police along with K-9 Units from the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Sterling Police, and Dixon Police assisted the Morrison Community Unit School District #6 with a search of the High School, as part of a regular exercise. During the search, school faculty discovered cannabis and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle parked in the school parking lot. Morrison Police arrested Kaitlyn M. Anderson, age 18 of Morrison, IL, charging Anderson with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (< 2.5 grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Anderson was released with a Notice to Appear.
On Friday, December 11, 2015, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Dominic A. Mucci, age 38 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Mucci with Failure to Appear – Driving While License Revoked. Mucci was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Nathan Q. Sandell, age 24 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Sandell with Failure to Appear – Identify Theft. Sandell was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail.
