Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, December 1, 2017.
Arrests: On Friday, December 1, 2017, at approximately 9:21 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 101 Randall Drive, Morrison, IL, regarding a suspicious vehicle. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested William J. Brearton, age 38 of Chadwick, IL, charging Brearton with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Brearton was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and issued a Notice to Appear with a date of January 11, 2018.
On Saturday, December 2, 2017, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Alfred C. Adams, Jr., age 28 of Des Plaines, IL. The traffic stop was conducted on E. Lincolnway at Bartlett Street for a moving violation. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Adams was arrested and charged with Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Adams was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Monday, December 4, 2017, at approximately 7:16 p.m., Morrison Police responded to the area of 615 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, regarding two suspicious persons. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Aaron L. Walters, age 31 of Prophetstown, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Walters with Failure to Appear-Aggravated Domestic Battery. Walters was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
