December 1 Christmas in the Canyon Cancelled

Posted by

SnowyDuskWierenga’s Heritage Canyon, along with Andresen Nature Center, has cancelled the “Christmas in the Canyon” event for this Saturday, December 1, 2018.  The decision was made because of safety concerns, due to heavy snow resulting from a Sunday, November 25, storm.  With the volume of snow and the terrain at Heritage Canyon, it has been determined there is too much of a fall risk for visitors and the Early American Crafters, who staff the buildings.  Even Santa and Mrs Claus have decided to stay home!

The Early American Crafters are very disappointed to have to cancel it at this time.

The primary purpose of the annual “Christmas in the Canyon” event, is to thank everyone for their support and patronage throughout the year. They organization plans to reschedule this free, “Thank You” appreciation event, prior to the official May 2019 opening.  More information will be announced when it is available.

Kindly share this information with those you know who planned to attend.  Happy holidays to all from the Early American Crafters.
