David A. Webb, 68, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, December 12, 2014, at Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison.
David was born June 2, 1946, in Rock Springs, WY, to Denver D. and Lillie Mae (Smith) Webb. He was educated in the Fulton, IL, schools and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. David married Alberta Pauline Doty on February 17, 1967, in Clinton, IA. He was employed by several salvage yards, Winstead Pallets in Sterling, IL, and for the Clinton Herald in Clinton. David enjoyed going to swap meets and car shows and loved to work on cars.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta Pauline; one daughter, Sandi (Gary Oudekerk) Stuart of Morrison; one son, Bradley Webb of Morrison; two grandchildren, Amber (Jonny Chaffin) Miller, Mya (Austin Clapper) Stuart; four great-grandchildren, Marilyn Li Miller, Cole Allen Chaffin, Lilliana Chaffin, and Maeleigh Clapper; one brother, Lewis (Sharon) Webb of Morrison; best friend, Arnold Jordan of Morrison; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wayne Webb.
There will be no funeral service.
VISITATION: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
Cremation rites have been accorded.
