Darrell G. House, 84, of Morrison, IL, died Monday, August 6, 2018, at Resthave Home, Morrison.
Darrell was born March 6, 1934, in Sterling, IL, the son of Paul and Lauretta (Chapman) House, Sr. He married Shirley Conner on June 26, 1953, in Morrison.
Survivors include his wife Shirley of Morrison; two daughters, Sherry (Bob) Martin of Denver, CO, and Jackie (Ron) Herberg of Andalusia, IL; four sons, Steve (Jennifer) House of Norfolk, VA, Bill (Linda) House of Rock Falls, IL, Brian (Jeanie) House of Morrison, and Chris (Kris) House of Rock Falls; one sister, Diana (Doug) Sisson of Sterling, IL; three brothers, Rick (Jana) House, of Sterling, Doug (Rose) House of Sterling, and Jerry (Carol) House of Morrison; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul House, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Bethel Reformed Church, Sterling, IL, with Reverend Gary Dekoekkoek, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established.
