Cynthia J. Ramirez, age 64, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
Cindy was born on February 22, 1957, in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Connor) Gundry. She married Noe Ramirez, Jr. on February 11, 2000. Cindy was employed as the Manager at Advance America in Sterling. She loved to fish and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Survivors include her husband, Noe Ramirez, Jr. of Rock Falls, IL; daughter, Bobi Jo (Chris) Mendoza of Louisville, KY; stepdaughter, Ashley (Octavio) Hernandez of DeKalb, IL; stepsons, Noe Ramirez III of Sterling, Jason J. Ramirez of Rock Falls, and Christopher Ramirez of Morrison, IL; sister, Patty Anderson of Tampa, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 3, 2021, at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to St. Jude Children’s Memorial Hospital.
