These folks glided down Rock Creek on Saturday, July 7, 2018. They are shown passing Annan Mill. The group “exited the creek down by Fairway Drive, by what is now the Dog Park. They walked around the dog park and over the hill towards Waterworks Park, carrying their rafts,” stated an observer.

“Cruising Down the River” was a top song in mid-1940. Click here for a vintage vocal rendition.
Deyo submitted this pre-float group photo of 21 individuals, taken by Rodney Mills. It includes his wife and granddaughter, who did not raft.
