first-ribbonFirst is a place of honor. First place is for the champion. The First Lady is married to the most powerful man in the United States. The first round draft picks are the most coveted players to enter a league.

The only One in the universe deserving of first place in our lives is God. He is King over every authority.  Come learn what “God first” looks like in every area of your life.

On Sunday, January 4, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Ray Peters will preach the first week of this new series entitled “First-Seek First.”  This will also launch 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, as we seek God first for what He will show us this coming year.  Crossroads Community Church meets at the Morrison Institute of Technology auditorium, 701 Portland Avenue (IL Route 78), Morrison, IL.

Kidzlink Children’s ministry (for ages birth through 5th grade) will meet at 10:00 a.m. during the Adult Worship Service.

Crave Student Ministries will have a special New Year’s Eve gathering from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Crave Building, 201 W. Market Street, Morrison.  This is open to all Jr. High and Sr. High school students.  Crave will resume normal hours on Wednesday, January 7, 2015.  Jr. High meets from 6:00 to 7:00; Sr. High meets from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
