The annual ecumenical Community Cross Walk was on Good Friday, April 19, 2019, beginning at 12:15 p.m. at Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL. Pastor Jon Eastlick (Crossroads Community Church) addressed residents, staff, and walkers at Resthave.
Fifty participants continued up the N. Jackson Street hill to Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, 500 N. Jackson Street. A few others rode in a school bus to the second destination. Father James Brzezinski (The Church of Saint Anne) carried the cross for awhile, then allowed others a turn. He spoke at Pleasant View.
