Temperatures were in the low 30s, and crystalline flurries glittered in the sunlight, during “Third Thursday,” on November 18, 2021, outside The Loft on Main, 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. Nevertheless, inside the comfortable gallery, 12 male and female community members “visited” with each other, over free coffee, juice, and home-baked treats. Nine lingered–from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.–before the gallery opened.
Photographed left-to-right around the table were were Marcia Haag; her cousin from Pennsylvania, Suzanne Morrison; Jean Zinnen; Christine Tichler; Sharon Boyles; Marc Adami; Steve Kammerer of Prophetstown, IL; Martha Kophamer.
Wood artisans Gary Taylor and Everett Pannier, plus Nancy Pannier, departed before the Editor took the photo.
Boyles supplied four sweets: Blueberry Ricotta Coffee Cake; Caramel Pecan Rolls; Gingersnap cookies; Toffee Coffee Cake. Coffee, water, and apple cider were available.
