County Clerk Announces Early Voting and Vote by Mail

us flagDana Nelson, Whiteside County Clerk, announces Early Voting and Vote by Mail for the Tuesday, November 8, 2016, General Election.  Any valid registered voter in Whiteside County may vote during the early voting period.  Any vote cast is final and may not be revoked, and the voter is not eligible to cast a vote on election day.

Early voting will be conducted at the Whiteside County Courthouse, 200 E. Knox Street, Morrison, IL, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., beginning on Thursday, September 29, and ending on Monday, November 7. There will be early voting on Saturday, October 29, and November 5, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.  The office will be closed on Monday, October 10.

Early voting will be available on a limited basis available in Sterling, IL, for all Whiteside County Precincts, at the Eastern Branch Court Facility at 101 E. Third Street in Sterling.  The dates and times for voting in Sterling are:  Wednesday, October 26, Thursday, October 27, and Friday, October 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In order to vote by mail, contact the Clerk’s office to receive an application.  Once the completed application is received by the Clerk, no later than November 3, 2016, a ballot will be mailed to the voter.
