The Morrison City Council met on Monday, January 8, 2024, with Aldermen Mahaffey and Bruckner not in attendance. City Administrator Brian Melton opened the evening with an introduction of his recent year-end publication of positive happenings, orchestrated by the current City Council. The writing is a “reminder to the citizens of Morrison of the Council’s productivity in 2023,” remarked Melton
The limited actions that followed included the awarding of a bid for an AC/Air Handlers Replacement Project, for the City of Morrison Community Room, and an agreement with Willett Hofmann Associates, Inc., Wall & Larch Watermain Replacement Project of $84,000.
The Council adjourned into a Closed Session for discussion of the compensation for the first anniversary of the Chief of Police and the Recreation Services Director.
