As proof of recent beautification efforts along the downtown area, Morrison Chamber of Commerce Coordinator Meridith Layne submitted these pretty, potted petunias. You will find them in front of (Robert) Millikan Park, beside the Chamber office, at 221 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL.
“Volunteerism continues to blossom with the local 4-H Cottonwood and Federation groups….They work[ed] to make downtown Morrison more inviting, with new flowers in the planters this summer, in front of businesses on Main Street,” she stated.
