Resthave Home residents enjoyed shucking donated sweet corn at 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, on Monday morning, July 31, 2017.
One of them stated she enjoyed completing this chore, because it reminded her of days on the farm. She often helped her dad shuck corn as she listened to him tell stories. Another resident remembered shucking corn was a “family affair” at their home.
