“Light Up the Night” is the theme for the 14th Annual St. Mary’s Community Father Daughter Dance. It will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL. Please park behind the school and enter through the back door. Doors open at 6:30; DJ music is from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
This popular family event is planned for Morrison and surrounding communities. Because it is an evening of music, dancing, and memorable fun, each year the Father Daughter Dance grows in attendance. Young ladies of every age invite their favorite escort: father, grandfather, uncle, or brother. Dance, socialize, or sit at tables to talk and eat.
This is an opportunity for fathers to share with daughters their special bond; to show them how a lady should be treated; to demonstrate how important they are.
All girls are admitted at no cost; male escorts pay $20 at the door. The fee includes
- DJ
- 4” x 6” photograph of the escort and his lady, taken from 6:30 to 7:00
- beverages
- desserts.
Those who want extra photos will pay $5 per picture. Steve Siefken, renowned Morrison photographer, will capture each couple or group in one photo for the scrapbook.
There will be attractive gift baskets full of surprises raffled throughout the dance. Tickets cost $1 for one; $5 for six; $10 for 13.
Come join the fun, like the girls shown below!
