The warmer spring temperatures awakened the bats of both the Newman Comets and Morrison Mustangs as each team pounded out ten hits in a 11-8 Newman win at Morrison.
The Mustang offense was headed by homers by A. Meinsma and N. Robbins and four RBIs by Meinsma, but four Mustang errors aided the Comets win.
