Coloring isn’t just for children anymore! It is now a popular activity for adults of all ages. Adult coloring focuses on the process as well as on the finished product. It promotes a calmer mind and increased coordination.
Coloring is also a way to tap into “mindfulness,” or awareness of the present moment, which has been shown to improve brain function and help decrease stress.
Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, invites you to a coloring party on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. in the Program room.
We will enjoy music, cookies, hot tea, and hot chocolate as we visit and color our way through the evening.
Reservations are appreciated, but not required. Please call the library, 815-772-7323, to reserve your spot.
We will have colored pencils, gel pens, crayons, and coloring pages (including special valentines), or you may bring your own.
