The Loft on Main, 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, is more than a vibrant art gallery, with opportunities to meet artists or take classes from Woodlawn Arts Academy. Beginning Thursday, June 20, 2019, it will become a monthly venue for coffee, treats, and good conversation. Start your day with friends or colleagues; meet someone to enjoy the experience.
This new offering is a coffee hour called “Third Thursday.” The name defines when these get-togethers will occur. The time is 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., ending right before The Loft on Main opens.
Homemade treats baked by gallery Volunteers this month include blueberry muffins, rhubarb cobbler, and brownies.

The public is invited to attend a Meet the Artists event in the evening, starting at 6:30 p.m. Val Butcher creates glass works, from clocks to wine stoppers. Rick Brant and Rick Prestley are photographers. Each will discuss their artistic philosophy, process, and products.
