Morrison United Methodist Church and The City Rebar Detailing, Inc. are preparing for their eighth annual Community Coats and Jackets for Morrison Kids program. They will accept new coats and jackets or clean used clothing in good condition.
Donated outerwear can be brought to the church Monday, October 26, through Wednesday, October 28, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please use the west entrance under the canopy.
“We also need helpers to assist in set-up on Wednesday afternoon, October 28; to help with the give-away and to pack up on Thursday, October 29,” stated Nancy Poling.
The coat selection event will be held in the Heritage Hall at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Coats and jackets in all children’s sizes will be available for those who need them.
There will be no charge for anyone receiving these items.
Two time periods are arranged for parents to select warm items for their children:
- 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
- 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
