Racks of free Coats and Jackets for Kids are all sorted and ready to go to homes on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Morrison Methodist Church’s Heritage Hall is the pick up location, at 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. This fourth annual community event is sponsored by Morrison United Methodist Church and The City Rebar Detailing, Inc.
- One rack is sized for infants-to-age-four children.
- One hundred five of the coats are new.
- There are a few larger-size, second-hand coats.
- A long table holds hats, scarves, and mittens.
Two time periods are arranged for parents to select warm outerwear for their children:
- from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
- 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
