Clinton Community College Graduation looked different in 2020 for the graduates due to the coronavirus pandemic and the need for social distancing. CCC students celebrated online with staff and faculty along with family and friends. CCC President Brian Kelly shared a welcome and message stating, “In challenging times, our students persisted and showed a resilience that will serve them well, as they enter the workforce or continue their education. We are very proud of their accomplishments.”
Graduation speakers included Matthew Outzen, Eric Sipes, Luana Rozante, and Sonya Taylor.

Of the 208 students who applied for graduation, nine achieved High Honors with a 4.0 Grade Point Average, and 57 earned Honors of 3.5-to-3.9 GPAs. Students earned Associate of Arts Degrees, Associate of Science Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates. Eighteen students earned the Associate Degree in Nursing, and nine earned the Diploma in Practical Nursing.
Twelve area high school Seniors are scheduled to earn an AA or AS, and six are earning both their AA and AS. They are from Bellevue, Camanche, and Maquoketa, IA, High Schools. In addition, there are 17 Maquoketa High School students set to earn a Production Welding Certificate.
