This fall, Morrison Community High School Class of 1966 will gather to celebrate their 50th reunion, beginning with a 7:00 p.m. social gathering of classmates and friends at Fat Boy’s, 201 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, on Friday evening, September 30, 2016.
Activities will continue with a girl’s “Get-together Lunch” on Saturday, October 1, at 10:30 a.m., at Krumpet’s, 1016 4th Street, in Fulton, IL. Reservations for the lunch are required and should be submitted to Stephanie (Busing) Heflin at 815-441-4836 by Saturday, September 16.
The reunion will take place on Saturday, October 1, at 5:30 p.m. at the Fulton Country Club, 20727 Cattail Road, Fulton. Invitations have been sent, with a reservation deadline of Saturday, August 27. Class members are urged to get their reservations to Heflin at 815-441-4836 as soon as possible.
Brent Sikkema, member of the class of ’66, recently purchased the Annan Mill and donated it to the Morrison Historical Society. As a “Thank you” to Sikkema for his generosity, the class will be collecting donations at the reunion to help with the Annan Mill. Anyone not able to attend the reunion may donate by sending a check made payable to the “Morrison Historical Society Annan Mill Account” to Stephanie Heflin, P. O. Box 432, Sterling, IL 61081.
