Morrison, IL, Public Works Department has declared a snow emergency beginning Friday, November 20, 2015, at 9:00 p.m. Kindly observe the following:
- No parking on snow routes until all snow has been removed from the full width of the street.
- Odd and even parking restrictions will be in effect on all other City streets. Residents should park on the odd-numbered side of the street on odd-numbered days of the calendar month; park on the even side on even-numbered days.
These parking restrictions will end when all accumulated snow has been removed from the full width of the street, or when the snow emergency is canceled by the City. Cars parked in violation of the above restrictions will be ticketed and may be towed, at the owner’s expense.
The City of Morrison also would like to ask residents to help Postal Carriers and neighbors, by shoveling the sidewalks after the plows have finished clearing the streets. Thank you for your cooperation.
