The Fulton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the City of Fulton Administration have been visiting a handful of volunteer groups in Fulton, IL. They have gone above and beyond to give back to this wonderful community, through various works and contributions. Ten groups–that specifically benefit Fulton tourism, Fulton businesses, or the City of Fulton as a whole–were selected to be thanked in the past weeks.
One representative from each group was contacted by Chamber Executive Director April Edwards-Eshelman, to find the meeting location, time, and date. Unbeknownst to them, the Board of Directors and City Administration planned to attend these meetings, to personally thank each group for all they do to give back to the town. Groups were presented with a “No Good Deed Goes Unnoticed” Award.
Edwards-Eshelman stated, “The dedication of these volunteers is phenomenal and allows Fulton to be what it is, because of their hard work!”
The Fulton Tourism Director, Regina Layman and Fulton Chamber Director Edwards-Eshelman are fortunate to see the passion these people have for Fulton and the numerous tasks that get accomplished because of them. Fulton is a great place to live, work, stay, play, shop, visit, and do business.
If you want to get involved with one of these groups, please contact the Chamber office for more information. If you benefit from the actions of these organizations, be sure to thank them!
