Emmanuel Youth Fellowship welcomes you to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Sunday, May 5, 2019, at a fundraising opportunity. Join us at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris Street, Morrison, IL, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
In June 2019 students will travel to Pine Ridge, SD, to serve the Lakota Sioux Nation.
Students will host a Mexican Dinner. The menu includes Beef Tacos, Chicken Quesadillas, Rice, Beans, Salsa, Assorted Toppings, Desserts, and lemonade or water.
Emmanuel YF is a unique group of students from assorted churches in the Morrison Community. Churches include Brethren in Christ, Crossroads Community Church, Ebenezer Reformed Church, Emmanuel Reformed Church, St. Mary Catholic Church, and Morrison United Methodist Church.
In the past the students have traveled to Oklahoma, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and even to Jamaica to serve communities. This year’s students will have the opportunity to serve a culturally unique community in South Dakota. Thirty-nine people are committed to the mission experience.
