Family, classmates, and friends of the late Jennifer Banks gathered to share remembrances of her at Donnybrook Bakery Café, 203 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL, Tuesday evening, December 22, 2015. It was an opportunity to share feelings with those touched by the tragic loss.
“The Donnybrook is opening as a courtesy to the family and to help the healing,” explained owner Bob Vaughn.
On the evening of Banks’s funeral, a large group came together for well-over three hours. Throughout the event, the newly-named Memories Bell rang several times in her memory.

If you desire “spirits of past and present,” choose Irish coffee or the Donnybrook Ol’ Fashion.
This beverage was invented in the 1950’s in neighboring Wisconsin. The bartender will make it with Jameson Irish whiskey, muddled with bitters, an orange slice, and a cherry. The drink is finished with club soda.
