Sheriff John F. Booker reported on Sunday, December 25. 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash, on IL Route 84, south of Covell Road in rural Fulton, IL. It was determined a single vehicle traveling northbound struck a female pedestrian. The female was transported to Mercy Hospital in Clinton, IA, and was pronounced dead. At this time the identity of the female is unknown, and it is believed she is not from the area. The crash remains under investigation. More information will be released following the investigation.
