Christmas at the Museum

museumtreeNancy Gravert, Morrison, IL, submittted the following photos from the Friday, December 6, 2013, Christmas Walk.  They were taken inside Morrison’s Heritage Museum, 202 E. Lincolnway.

Upstairs and down, the former Odell Public Library building was decorated for the Holiday season.  Those determined to enjoy the cold weather found plenty to explore while keeping warm and enjoying refreshments.

A fire in the Hearth Room added to the ambience, as visitors patiently wrapped raffia around a wooden disc, creating a simple, jingle-bell-topped Christmas ornament.  Each guest received a flavorful candy cane.
