Chemotherapy Induced Neuropathy Seminar May 27

Home of Hope Cancer Wellness Center, 1637 Plock Road, Dixon, IL, will host an educational program on the symptoms and treatment of neuropathy induced by chemotherapy.  The public is invited for this free seminar, beginning at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015.  Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a progressive, enduring, and often irreversible condition featuring pain, numbness, tingling, and sensitivity to cold in the hands and feet that afflicts between 30 and 40 percent of patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Sue Hageman, KSB Hospital Cancer Resource Nurse will lead the presentation.
