“Third Thursday,” December 16, at The Loft on Main, 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, concludes 2021 with Mayor Scott Vandermyde in attendance. From 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.–before the gallery opens–he will gather with others for informal conversation and free coffee, juice, and home-baked treats.
Mayor Vandermyde stated he wanted to thank the community-at-large for their patience during the Main Street renovation this year and the street lighting that has not been delivered yet. “We are at the mercy of the supply chain delays.”
He concluded by noting he is “extremely pleased with the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Walk and Parade and public turnout. Eric Phend, who led caroling at the City Christmas tree lighting, told me more kids stuck around to sing carols this year.”
The Loft on Main is a two-story, historic building full of one-of-a-kind merchandise to treat the senses: 1200 items are available!
