Morrison Chamber of Commerce and event sponsors Co-Z Corner, Inc. and Sterling Federal Bank are pleased to announce the first annual “Movie in the Park.” This free event will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the Morrison Sports Complex, located just east of Morrison at Route 30 and Bishop Road, Morrison, IL.
Enjoy the summer evening with a family-friendly, animated movie, “Zootopia” (PG rated.) It will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) The Disney film is sure to be a hit with the entire family.
From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis, where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the Police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law.
Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a wily fox who makes her job even harder.
Load up the car with the kids, lawn chairs, blankets, and a flashlight for a free evening at the movies under the stars. Concessions, including popcorn, will be available for purchase.
Please remember smoking is not permitted at the Complex, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
