Morrison Auto Supply, 502 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, was “mobbed” on Saturday, May 3, 2014, by the Morrison Mob. Mobsters gathered in the Chamber of Commerce headquarters, 221 W. Main Street, at 11:00 a.m. and set off to surprise a pre-determined Morrison Chamber Business. Nearly two dozen people joined in the fun of shopping local and spending $10 or more.
The event, sponsored by the Morrison Chamber of Commerce, was a way to promote the “Think Local, Shop Local, Morrison First” campaign. Future events are planned for every other month. The entire community is invited to participate.
