The Morrison Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2015 scholarship recipient is Miss Kelsey Middleton. The Chamber annually awards a $500 scholarship to a graduating Senior from Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL.
Middleton will attend Greenville College, a four-year school in Greenville, IL, located 45 miles east of St. Louis, MO. Shown is the library. She will study Music Business. In high school, Middleton was in four musicals and Madrigals. She was Student Council Vice President and a Key Club member her Junior and Senior years. She is an Administrator at thecity1.com online newspaper.
Chamber President Scott Stocker said, “The Chamber is proud of its commitment to higher education. Our Board of Directors is pleased that we can continue to recognize local students for their accomplishments and help them pursue their educational dreams.”
The Chamber’s scholarship program was started in the early 1990’s.
