Thursday, September 14, 2017 on her birthday, Shelley Misch received a special gift this year; donating her baby basket to two-day-old Kesingtyn Frye and mer mom, Britni Wiersema.
Shelley is the founder of Shelley’s Secret Stork It was birthed out of her desire to have babies, but because of complication from her own premature birth, she is not able to. Instead, she shops the stores for baby items, and puts together baskets to donate to new moms.
Thank to help from the CGH Health Foundation and CGH OB department, Shelley was able to give this year’s basket to mom and baby in person and on her birthday. She was delighted to see the beautiful newborn and appreciative mom.
On each of her baskets, Shelley includes her story and this quote, “I made this basket with all the love from my heart and bought each item like it was for my own baby,” Shelley says. “I do hope you enjoy it and I hope you enjoy every moment with your beautiful baby girl.”
