The Paul B. Sharar Foundation for Clinton Community College (CC) has announced the recipients of scholarships for the 2014-15 academic year. Scholarship funding totals $164,150 this year. Since 1984, $2,631,511 in scholarships have been awarded to 3080 CCC students. Saturday, November 1, 2014, is the deadline for CCC students to apply for scholarships for Spring 2015 semester. The first Dean of the college, Paul B. Sharar, had a vision of education as the way people learn to live more useful lives for themselves and for their fellow citizens, so they feel the joy of accomplishment above and beyond the common-place that might have been. The CCC Foundation is named in his honor.
