CCC Opening New Art Exhibit

CCCArtShow032017Clinton Community College is exhibiting a new Art Gallery located in their newly renovated library. This gallery will run from Monday, March 20, through Friday, April 28, 2017. A reception on Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., will help open the new exhibit in the CCC Library Art Gallery

Titled “On the Other Side,” this exhibit features personal works by area high school art instructors. The community is invited to view the exhibit and to attend the reception for these talented artists. Clinton Community College is located at 1000 Lincoln Boulevard, Clinton, IA.

Schools and Instructors who are participating in “On the Other Side” include:

  • Fulton High School:  MacKenzie Jackson and Alexandria Naughton
  • Unity Christian High School:  Laura Reddy
  • Central DeWitt Community High School:  Cassie Dunlavey
  • Camanche High School:  Deb Steffen
  • Northeast High School:  Matt Kepple
  • Calamus Wheatland High School:  Brooke Baliche

These are some of the area high school instructors who participate in the annual CCC High School Fine Art Day. Alexandria Naughton, who teaches at Fulton High School, is a recent graduate of Clinton Community College.

The next presentation will be the CCC Student Art Exhibit, running from Monday, May 1, through Friday, June 30. The Opening Reception will be held Thursday, May 4, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the CCC Library Art Gallery.
