CCC Commencement and Nursing Pinning, May 17

CapDiplomaClinton Community College will host the 69th Commencement Ceremony Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at W. J. Yourd Gymnasium at 6:00 p.m.  A reception for the graduates will be held in the Clinton Community College Auditorium, 1000 Lincoln Boulevard, Clinton, IA, following the ceremony.   The community is invited to attend. 

Clinton Community College will have 202 graduates.  Six students have earned High Honors with a 4.0 GPA.  Honors are awarded to 47 students who have earned a 3.5 – 3.99 GPA.

Student Marshals are Madeline Marlowe and Jordan Ready.  Commencement Speakers include graduates Kayleigh Schultz, Jason Sharp, and Christine King.  Student Ushers are Michelle Green, Jay Jones, Krysta Mapes, Joshua Neymeyer, Ashlyn Shores, Brooke Smith, Carlie Taylor, and Dylan Temple.

A Nursing Pinning ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m., on May 17 in the CCC Auditorium for students completing the nursing program.  Included in the program will be CCC President Dr. Karen Vickers, nursing instructors Tammy Nodarse and Ramon Tieso, and students Tonya Perkins and Darlene Jobin.  Joan Berkey will present the nursing pins.   The students will be recognized for their achievements and will be pinned by a family member or friend who has shown support during their years in the program.  For more information, contact Mardell Mommsen at 563-244-7001.
