Carol “Sue” Todd, age 74 of Sterling, IL, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016, at her home.
Sue was born on October 11, 1941 in Morrison, IL, the daughter of Warren and Yetta (Lyon) Smith. She married Dale Todd on November 21, 1986, in Xenia, OH. She was a member of D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution) and Harvest Time Bible Church.
Survivors include her husband Dale; mother, Yetta Todd of Morrison; daughter, Amy (Carlos) Velazquez of Chicago, IL; sons, James I. (Crystal) Todd of Tiskilwa, IL, and Eric A. Todd (Pamela Jones) of Lexington, KY; two brothers, Warren (Ann) Smith of Kankakee, IL, and Larry (Kathy) Smith of Sterling; six grandchildren, Leah, Charlie, Jaycee, Layla, Gunnar, and Brayden; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister-in-law, Linda Smith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, 1002 12th Avenue.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jason Borton officiating.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory.
